HOPE IN LA
Helping Other People Everyday in Los Angeles
HOPE in LA is a non-profit youth made organization whose main focus is to serve the Los Angeles homeless community. We do this by serving food and gifting items of need. The members of HOPE in LA meet every week on Saturday to help the homeless in the downtown area. Our goal is to not only help the homeless but to communicate with them as well. HOPE in LA also hopes to educate the youth and to help erase the various stigmas about homelessness.

ABOUT
In 2017, our non-profit organization began as Jr. Heart Share Club. During our time within the “Heart Share” Organization, we developed as a group and gained valuable experience. However, in 2019, we decided to branch off from the Heart Share Organization and form what we are now known as H.O.P.E. In 2020, we took a break because of the pandemic but starting serving the homeless again in April 2022.
ACTIVITIES
HOPE in LA is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our nonprofit organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. Some of our projects include feeding the homeless or providing for seniors at senior centers. Although we started as a small community in Koreatown, we hope to become a large organization.

SENIOR SERVICE
H.O.P.E is an organization that engages in a wide array of activities in our community. This includes volunteering at senior centers in Koreatown. Every Christmas, members of HOPE prepare performances to present to the senior citizens. We hope to bring joy to the elderly with our lively songs and spirited dances.

HOMELESS OUTREACH
H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Everyday), is an organization that focuses on giving back to the Koreatown community. One of the many activities that we participate in is aiding the homeless. Every first and second Saturday of the month, members from H.O.P.E get together on Boyd Street in Downtown to feed the homeless. In addition to feeding the homeless, we engage in prayers, learn more about their circumstances, and also distribute basic necessities such as socks and scarves.
